Looks like we got picked up by StumbleUpon last week. Had a traffic spike of 15k unique visitors over a few hours so we had to go look and see where they were coming from. Nifty!

We have released a version of Slidebomb for Teachers and Students called "SlideBomb Academy". It lets teachers sign up and get their own portal. Students can sign up on the portal and post SlideBombs. Teachers have to approve each SlideBomb before it is shown publicly. Only SlideBombs published by your students will appear on your portal keeping it student safe! (Btw, its free too).

There has been great demand for a b00mbox/slidebomb playlist player which can automatically play the YouTube videos as a playlist. Its now in place! If you've created a b00mbox or a SlideBomb which contains only videos you'll now have the option to Play with the Player. Check it out!

Some new apps have been created using the SlideBomb API. We'd like to feature two of them.

First, b00mbox.com (http://b00mbox.com) allows people to create SlideBombs that comprise of Youtube videos with their friends. It lets people ask their friends questions or give them tasks that they can answer with videos on Youtube. Once submitted a SlideBomb of their videos will be automatically created so it can be shared and embedded.

Second, IHasFunny.com (http://IHasFunny.com), a blog of funny pictures has been programmed to automatically post the 10 funniest pictures to SlideBomb everyday. Pretty Nifty.

We released the new interface which we hope is more intuitive for everyone. Now instead of filling out a form and hitting preview you edit and make the slide as it would appear in your SlideBomb! Check it out and let us know what you think.

The new Webservice API has been deployed and has been sent to a couple of users for testing. If you'd like to participate just drop us an email at support@slidebomb.com. It should be publicly released in a few days.

The new slides interface was rolled out to about 10% of users today so we can do some testing on it. Smooth sailing so far. You guys are going to find it a lot more intuitive to use!

Some big updates are coming to SlideBomb. A new and improved WYSIWYG slideshow editor and Webservices for Developers for starters. Not to mention, we now have T-shirts! Win one by participating in and winning our caption contest!

SlideBomb launched today! There are still some bugs with certain browsers and operating systems but we're working to fix those. Lots of upgrades coming in the next few days/weeks. Make sure to let us know what you think! We're open to ideas and we love feedback!
